SEASON TWO OF MIKE JUDGE PRESENTS: TALES FROM THE TOUR BUS PREMIERES ON NOVEMBER 3 EXCLUSIVELY ON CINEMAX
MIKE JUDGE PRESENTS: TALES FROM THE TOUR BUS, chronicling the exploits of legendary music artists, begins its eight-episode second season same time as the U.S. on Saturday, November 3 at 11am exclusively on CINEMAX (Astro Ch 412) with a same day encore at 10.30pm. New episodes debut every Saturday at the same time. The series will be available on HBO On Demand (via Astro GO).
While the first season of the show spotlighted country musicians, the new season focuses on funk music greats, including George Clinton, Rick James, James Brown and Bootsy Collins. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Parliament-Funkadelic founder Clinton serves as consulting producer and provides original music for the series.
Marking a return to his roots in animation and as a musician, Judge (“King of the Hill”; “Beavis and Butt-Head”; Emmy® nominee for HBO’s “Silicon Valley”) co-created, narrates and serves as an executive producer on the series, which recounts the raucous adventures of these musicians, as told by those who knew them best.
TALES FROM THE TOUR BUS features animated interviews with former bandmates, friends and other erstwhile associates, who share uncensored anecdotes about the artists, brought to life by animated reenactments, and woven together with live-action archival performance footage and photos.
Telling tales of the characters who pass through a single room of a typical American chain motel, The anthology series ROOM 104 will return for its 12-episode second season, debuting two episodes back-to-back, same time as the U.S. on Saturday, November 10 at 1.30pm, exclusively on CINEMAX (Astro Ch 412), two new episodes will subsequent air every Saturday at the same time. The series is also available on HBO On Demand (via Astro GO).
From creators and executive producers Mark and Jay Duplass, the show tells a different story of the assorted characters who stay in the room in each episode, ranging from dark comedy and horror to poignant drama and musical romance. Filled with twists and surprises, ROOM 104 offers a new discovery from one episode to the next, telling tales of everyday people striving for connection and meaning inside a single room.
The stories and characters featured in season two include: a 30th birthday celebration sidetracked by a jealous sister; an internet first date between a famous Russian political technologist and a veterinary nurse; a woman who hears a voice inside the walls; two men who meet to fulfill an unusual fantasy; and more.
