"ADAM! THE MUSICAL" DIPENTASKAN SEMULA DI KLPAC

Yayasan Sime Darby Art Festival (YSDAF) 2018 is just round the corner (18 & 19 Aug).

During YSDAF, KLPAC will be unveiling the new & improved Adam! The Musical directed by Joe Hasham OAM (19 Aug is free for the public). It'll continue running after YSDAF from 24 Aug - 1 Sep (paid tickets).

When it premiered in 2010, Adam ran for 35 record-breaking performances to raise awareness on HIV / AIDS. Though there has been huge medical advancements since, the stigma is still a serious issue.

The new Adam! The Musical will feature an updated story by Mark Beau de Silva and refreshed music with a more Broadway show tune feel by Musical Director Bow Martin.

Malik reprises his role as Adam and Teresa Goh plays his fiance Mia. Faridah Merican is back as Mummy Noni. Adam's BFFs played by Fairuz Fee Tauhid and Zhafir Muzani are ready to make a hoot alongside Nikki Palikat who plays Mia's sister Flora.

They are joined by a 10-strong ensemble comprising Alvin Looi, Amanda Xavier, Dylan Yeo, Iz Sulaini, Joe Chin Dagoe, Karynn Tan, Min Wong, Nabilah Hamid, Riena Aisya & Tina Isaacs.

Adam the Musical 2018 is a modern love story about beating the odds with music, humour, and love.

Follow Adam and Mia, as they navigate their 'complicated' relationship amidst meddling relatives, kaypo aunties, and hilarious best friends to finally come to the most important question in the world; 'Do you, take this man, to be your lawfully, wedded...'
