ASTRO FETES ITS CUSTOMERS WITH GV PRAKASH CONCERT
This festival of lights will be more vibrant for all Astro customers with a wider variety of local and international Tamil and Hindi titles, special programmes on RAAGA platforms and Astro Ulagam, all for the enjoyment of our customers.
From special feature programmes and reality shows to TV dramas and movies, Astro customers can access popular titles and all-time favourites on all Astro platforms including on demand, Astro GO, NJOI and NJOI Now.
Adding on to the variety of titles available are two new channels, Colors Tamil HD (CH 233) which offers customers more dramas and reality shows including Enga Veetu Mapillai and Colors Super Kids; and, Zee Tamil HD (CH 232), which is home to the latest movies, dramas and reality shows such as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs Season 2 and Genes Season 3. Both Colors Tamil HD (CH 233) and Zee Tamil HD (CH 232) will be available on the Samrat Pack.
Customers who subscribe to Samrat Pack by 20 October 2018 via CH200 will receive tickets to watch well-known Tamil movie star, singer and music composer, GV Prakash, at his Malaysian concert debut on 28 October 2018 at Stadium Melawati, Shah Alam.

Astro Vaanavil (CH 201):
- Arun Vijayudan Deepavali Kondattam, a special programme featuring popular actor Arun Vijay along with playback singers Anuradha Sriram, Ranjith and local artists; and,
- Local movies and variety shows such as Brinthavanathil Kannan, Villavan; Vevveru Roobam; Superstar Raja; and, Joe The Black.
Astro Vellithirai (CH 202)
- Nadigaiyar Thilagam, a biography capturing the life of Indian superstar Savitri, featuring Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan;
- Mersal, action thriller featuring Vijay portraying three roles alongside Nithya Menen, Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal; and,
- U-turn, starring popular actress, Samantha.
Astro Thangathirai (CH 241):
- Ghajinikanth, a romantic comedy starring Arya;
- Merku Thodarchi Maalai directed by Lenin Bharathi and Lakshmi featuring Prabhu Deva, Ditya Bhande and Aishwarya Rajesh; and,
- Bhaskar Oru Rascal, Vellaikaran and Thirutthu Payale – Tamil movies accessible on demand to customers with a connected PVR at home.
Astro Vinmeen HD (CH 231):
- Irumbu Thirai, Kaala, Bharath Ennum Naan and Bhaagamathie – popular Tamil movies;
- Pettikulle Enna S3, Beauty vs Dirty, One Heart: AR. Rahman Concert and Mojo Concert Extravaganza 1 – unique variety shows available for customers.
TARA HD (CH 108):
- Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Duplicate and Kal Ho Naa Ho – all-time favourite Hindi movies starring Shah Rukh Khan.
Bolly One HD (CH 251):
- Padman - directed and written by R. Balki, featuring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles;
- Veere Di Wedding, a comedy starring Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania
RAAGA, Malaysia’s No. 1 Tamil radio station, will be producing a 5-episode radio drama for the first time. Each episode will premiere between 10am – 1pm, Monday to Friday from 29 October 2018 during RAAGA’s Hello Nanba segment. Repeats of the all the episodes will be available on Hypermalai (3pm – 7pm) and Vealai Mudinjaachu (7pm – 12am) segments.
RAAGA will also be producing a new Deepavali song and music video, which features RAAGA announcers – Aanantha, Uthaya, Suresh, Ram, Revathy, and Ahila – amongst others.
